In order to conduct community service activities in collaboration with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Jepara Regency with the UGM Disaster Study Center (PSBA), Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was carried out on the Preparation of the Jepara District Disaster Hazard Map on September 13, 2018 at the Housing and Regional Offices Settlement of Jepara Regency. The FGD was attended by BPBD representatives, related OPDs, sub-district staff and the community. The presentation of the survey results was delivered at the beginning of the activity, as an introduction to the FGD.
In this activity, Idea Wening Nurani, S.Si., M.Sc., M.I.L were present as team members and became FGD facilitators along with several UGM lecturers and students. The FGD was conducted in three groups, namely the Kalinyamatan Subdistrict, Jepara District and Kembang District. Each group then discussed and conveyed knowledge and information related to the disaster that was or had occurred in each sub-district which was then immediately poured in the maps provided. The results of this FGD are expected to be able to complement the information that has been obtained previously and provide direction for the next survey.
