Prof. Dr. R. Rijanta is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Development Geography at the Faculty of Geography at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. He holds a Doctor in Rural Geography from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia & Utrecht University, The Netherlands, a Master in International Institute of Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences, The Netherlands, and a Bachelor in Human Geography from Universitas Gadjah Mada. His research interests are in the areas of Earth Sciences, Geography & Rural Development, Development Geography.
